Mothyman (Indoor Planter)

This terra cotta plant pot (4.3 x 4.3) has been turned into a piece of cryptid art; inspired by one of the most popular cryptids in the U.S.- the infamous, "Mothman"! The Mothman on the planter was hand sculpted out of air dry clay, & hand painted using a variety of acrylic paints. I formed its wings & legs from wire & foil, that have been covered & then sculpted with clay. They are colored black, with gray & red spot-like patterns. Its "fur" is made of black yarn that's been brushed out & straightened- manipulated into looking a little more fur-like. Its eyes were put together using red gemstones & resin (future orders will have two large red gemstones for the eyes instead). The back side of the plant pot is painted with a shimmery, dark navy color, copper & purple hues, & white spots to look like space, in the center there is a small UFO painted on. It also comes with a small, removable clay mushroom!
This Mothman inspired plant pot is one of my personal favorites, & would make a lovelyy addition to the ultimate cryptid lovers collection!
